Case Manager - benefits navigation (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Summit Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Oakland. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on benefits navigation. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Help with applications and appointments for school calendars. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
