Case Manager - benefits navigation (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Cobalt Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Oakland, and we need a Case Manager to lead our benefits navigation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Help with applications and appointments for classroom supplies. • Connect clients with partner agencies. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
