Case Manager - benefits navigation (Oakland, CA)

Summit Linden Civic Services works with county and city offices around Oakland, and we need a Case Manager to lead our benefits navigation. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Help with applications and appointments for budget submissions. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Strong documentation habits. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
