Case Manager - benefits navigation (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Redstone Lantern Housing and adding a Case Manager whose main responsibility will be benefits navigation. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Help with applications and appointments for resident services. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with resident services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
