Case Manager - benefits navigation (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Wilder Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on benefits navigation. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Help with applications and appointments for rent assistance. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. Nice to have • Experience with rent assistance. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
