Case Manager - benefits navigation (Detroit, MI)

Northwind Sable Early Learning is looking for a Case Manager. The job centres on benefits navigation for tuition and subsidies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Help with applications and appointments for tuition and subsidies. What we are looking for • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Strong documentation habits. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
