Case Manager - benefits navigation (Des Moines, IA)

Silverline River Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Des Moines, and we need a Case Manager to lead our benefits navigation. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Help with applications and appointments for lease compliance. What we are looking for • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Strong documentation habits. Nice to have • Experience with lease compliance. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
