Case Manager - benefits navigation (Des Moines, IA)

Nova Iron Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Des Moines, and we need a Case Manager to lead our benefits navigation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Help with applications and appointments for family communication. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Connect clients with partner agencies. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
