Case Manager - benefits navigation (Columbus, OH)

Amberfield Thistle Housing is looking for a Case Manager. The job centres on benefits navigation for repair requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 178 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Help with applications and appointments for repair requests. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with repair requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
