Case Manager - benefits navigation (Chicago, IL)

Lumen Rowan Civic Services works with county and city offices around Chicago. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on benefits navigation. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Help with applications and appointments for case files. • Connect clients with partner agencies. What we are looking for • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Strong documentation habits. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
