Case Manager - benefits navigation (Charleston, SC)

Greenridge Vista Community Partners is a nonprofit in Charleston supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Case Manager to lead our benefits navigation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Help with applications and appointments for client intake. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
