Case Manager - benefits navigation (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge Junction Community Partners runs community programmes across Birmingham. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on benefits navigation. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Help with applications and appointments for benefits enrolment. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Connect clients with partner agencies. What we are looking for • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Strong documentation habits. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
