Bookkeeper - payroll support (Virginia Beach, VA)

Harborlight Field Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Virginia Beach, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our payroll support. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Track paperwork for repair requests so nothing is filed late. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
