Bookkeeper - payroll support (remote)

Westbrook Cross Hospitality Group is a hospitality company in Kansas City with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our payroll support. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Track paperwork for group events so nothing is filed late. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
