Bookkeeper - payroll support (remote)

Westbrook Hollow Hospitality is a hospitality company in Birmingham with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring a Bookkeeper to take on payroll support. You would join a small organisation of about 152 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Track paperwork for reviews and feedback so nothing is filed late. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
