Bookkeeper - payroll support (Detroit, MI)

Stonegate Union Hospitality Group is a hospitality company in Detroit with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring a Bookkeeper to take on payroll support. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Track paperwork for reviews and feedback so nothing is filed late. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
