Bookkeeper - payroll support (Chicago, IL)

Stonegate Yarrow Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Chicago, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our payroll support. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Track paperwork for guest bookings so nothing is filed late. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
