Bookkeeper - payables and receivables (remote)

Clearpath Meadow Housing manages affordable housing communities across San Diego. We are hiring a Bookkeeper to take on payables and receivables. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Track paperwork for rent assistance so nothing is filed late. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
