Bookkeeper - payables and receivables (Memphis, TN)

Rivermark Junction Housing manages affordable housing communities across Memphis, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our payables and receivables. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Track paperwork for waiting lists so nothing is filed late. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. What we are looking for • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
