Bookkeeper - payables and receivables (Las Vegas, NV)

Ironwood Haven Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Las Vegas. We are hiring a Bookkeeper to take on payables and receivables. You would join a small organisation of about 146 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Track paperwork for waiting lists so nothing is filed late. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
