Bookkeeper - payables and receivables (Houston, TX)

Stonegate Orchard Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Houston, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our payables and receivables. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Track paperwork for group events so nothing is filed late. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
