Bookkeeper - payables and receivables (Cincinnati, OH)

Lumen Ivory Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Cincinnati, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our payables and receivables. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Track paperwork for guest bookings so nothing is filed late. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. What we are looking for • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
