Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Westbrook Union Hospitality Group is a hospitality company in Virginia Beach with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our month-end reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Track paperwork for food costs so nothing is filed late. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
