Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Lumen Iron Property Management looks after rental homes across the Virginia Beach area, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our month-end reporting. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Track paperwork for resident events so nothing is filed late. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
