Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (San Jose, CA)

Silverline Hospitality Partners is looking for a Bookkeeper. The job centres on month-end reporting for food costs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Track paperwork for food costs so nothing is filed late. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
