Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Sacramento, CA)

Cedar Maple Housing Partners provides affordable homes and support services around Sacramento. We are hiring a Bookkeeper to take on month-end reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 52 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Track paperwork for lease compliance so nothing is filed late. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
