Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Richmond, VA)

Ironwood Drift Hospitality is looking for a Bookkeeper. The job centres on month-end reporting for guest bookings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 148 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Track paperwork for guest bookings so nothing is filed late. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
