Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (remote)

Stonegate Umber Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Tucson. We are hiring a Bookkeeper to take on month-end reporting. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Track paperwork for food costs so nothing is filed late. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
