Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (remote)

Bright Drift Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Bookkeeper to take on month-end reporting. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Track paperwork for reviews and feedback so nothing is filed late. What we are looking for • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
