Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (remote)

Clearpath Forge Hospitality is a hospitality company in Kansas City with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our month-end reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 110 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Track paperwork for housekeeping schedules so nothing is filed late. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Organised, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
