Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (remote)

Nova Pine Housing manages affordable housing communities across Milwaukee, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our month-end reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Track paperwork for rent assistance so nothing is filed late. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Organised, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
