Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (remote)

Foxglove Field Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Kansas City, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our month-end reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 159 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Track paperwork for maintenance stores so nothing is filed late. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
