Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Oakland, CA)

Bluepeak Rowan Hospitality Group is a hospitality company in Oakland with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our month-end reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 95 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Track paperwork for group events so nothing is filed late. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
