Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Knoxville, TN)

Northwind Cross Hospitality is looking for a Bookkeeper. The job centres on month-end reporting for supplier orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Track paperwork for supplier orders so nothing is filed late. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
