Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Jacksonville, FL)

Stonegate Rook Housing is looking for a Bookkeeper. The job centres on month-end reporting for lease compliance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Track paperwork for lease compliance so nothing is filed late. What we are looking for • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
