Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Jackson, MS)

Nova Iron Property Management Group manages apartment communities around Jackson, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our month-end reporting. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Track paperwork for maintenance requests so nothing is filed late. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
