Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Jackson, MS)

Fernwood Linden Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Jackson area, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our month-end reporting. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Track paperwork for reviews and feedback so nothing is filed late. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
