Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Summit Housing is looking for a Bookkeeper. The job centres on month-end reporting for maintenance stores, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Track paperwork for maintenance stores so nothing is filed late. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings.
