Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Loom Property Management is looking for a Bookkeeper. The job centres on month-end reporting for unit turnovers, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track paperwork for unit turnovers so nothing is filed late. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
