Bookkeeper - month-end reporting (Columbus, OH)

Foxglove Sable Housing manages affordable housing communities across Columbus, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our month-end reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 154 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Track paperwork for repair requests so nothing is filed late. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
