Bookkeeper - bank reconciliation (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Maple Housing Group provides affordable homes and support services around San Diego, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our bank reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 75 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Track paperwork for maintenance stores so nothing is filed late. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Organised, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Comfort with sales-tax filings. • Payroll experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
