Bookkeeper - bank reconciliation (remote)

Northwind Meadow Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Seattle. We are hiring a Bookkeeper to take on bank reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Track paperwork for repair requests so nothing is filed late. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
