Bookkeeper - bank reconciliation (Knoxville, TN)

Harborlight Property Management is a Knoxville property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services, and we need a Bookkeeper to lead our bank reconciliation. Residents are neighbours, not numbers. What you will do • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Track paperwork for vendor invoices so nothing is filed late. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. What we are looking for • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
