Bookkeeper - bank reconciliation (Jackson, MS)

Greenridge Meadow Housing manages affordable housing communities across Jackson. We are hiring a Bookkeeper to take on bank reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer supplier and customer billing questions by phone and email. • Track paperwork for resident services so nothing is filed late. • Enter and code invoices, deposits and expenses daily. • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts and chase missing receipts. • Prepare monthly reports for the owner and the outside accountant. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a similar package. • Experience keeping books for a small or mid-sized organisation. • Organised, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Payroll experience. • Comfort with sales-tax filings. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
