Accountant - utility billing and capital projects (El Paso, TX)

Rivermark Pine Water Authority provides water and wastewater service to more than 200,000 residents in El Paso County and has about 450 employees. We are hiring a full-time accountant for the finance team. What you will do • Reconcile utility billing to the general ledger and investigate differences. • Track capital project costs and prepare monthly reports for engineering managers. • Help with the annual audit and grant reimbursement claims. What we are looking for • Two or more years in accounting; government or utility experience is a plus. • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Full-time, on site in El Paso.
