Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Tulsa, OK)

Rivermark Forge Energy is an energy provider in Tulsa focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service connections, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around billing disputes against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tulsa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
