Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Tulsa, OK)

Foxglove Keystone Environmental Services Associates is an environmental-services company in Tulsa with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around weigh tickets against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tulsa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
