Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Tulsa, OK)

Nova Quill Civic Services supports public agencies in Tulsa with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to budget submissions, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around permits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
