Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Tucson, AZ)

Redstone Lakeside Farms is an agricultural business based around Tucson, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around grower contracts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
