Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Tucson, AZ)

Amberfield Cobalt Medical is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for production lots, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lots, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around regulatory submissions against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
